Colombia Móvil S.A., marketed under Tigo trademark (formerly OLA), is the third largest mobile phone company in Colombia. It is headquartered in Bogotá, D.C..

The company provides voice and data services in 1900 MHz band and provides coverage throughout the country with GSM / GPRS.

Until October 2006, Colombia Movil was owned by two of the largest utilities and telecommunications in Colombia: Medellin Public Enterprise-EPM (www.eeppm.com) and Telecommunications Company of Bogota, ETB (www.etb . com.co)

Since then the group Millicom International Cellular Field was linked to Colombia as the third largest shareholder and incorporated it into its global network, which includes operations in 17 countries and a mass of customers in more than 15 million subscribers in Latin America, Asia and Africa.

Millicom, with 50% plus 1 share in Colombia Movil, assumed control and joined
-as-a strategic partner of the company since 2003, formed the cities of Bogota and Medellin, through his flagship companies EPM and ETB.
