DUBLIN, Ireland -- Research and Markets has announced the addition of IE Market Research Corp.'s new report "3Q08 Colombia Mobile Forecast, 2008 - 2010" to their offering. This Mobile Forecast on Colombia provides over 65 operational and financial metrics for the Colombia wireless market. We cover quarterly historical data starting in 1Q2004 and ending in 1Q2008. We also provide four-year forecasts at the operator level going out to 2010. Operators covered for Colombia include: Comcel (AMX), Movistar Colombia (TEF), and Tigo Colombia (MICC). Our Mobile Forecasts are updated quarterly and are available for one-time delivery or through regular updates. Notable highlights of the 3Q08 Colombia Mobile Forecast include: - The wireless penetration level in Colombia will continue increasing and it will reach 88.5% in 2010. The number of total subscribers in the country will increase from our projected 38.0 million in 2008 to 42.3 million in 2010. - The market shares of the three operators in the country will remain stable although we expect Comcel's market share to decrease slightly from 65.1% to 63.2% and that of Tigo Columbia to increase from 10.0% to 11.9% over the forecast period, 2008 - 2010. - Back in 4Q06, Tigo Colombia replaced Movistar as the operator with the highest ARPU in Colombia. We predict that this trend will continue during the forecast period, with Tigo Colombia registering the highest ARPU of US$ 13.85 per month in 2010. Our forecast model also shows that Comcel will continue to receive the lowest ARPU among operators in Colombia at US$ 10.49 per month in 2010. - Our model is now predicting relative stability in EBITDA margins across the operator space with Comcel having the highest EBITDA margins at 50.8% in 2010. http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/6bee2e/3q08_colombia_mob
