BOGOTA, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Colombia's consumer prices rose 0.04 percent in August compared with inflation of 0.19 percent in the same month a year earlier, the government said on Saturday.

A Reuters poll this week had forecast August inflation of 0.06 percent as food prices ease. The central bank expects inflation of 4.5 percent to 5.5 percent this year.
