The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 4 p.m. local time. The IGBC Index fell 0.5 percent to 12,819.41 while the Colcap Index declined 0.1 percent to 1,577.86. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (GRUPOSUR CB), the parent company of Colombia’s biggest bank, rose 2.9 percent to 31,800 pesos. The company said Colombia’s securities regulator approved the company’s acquisition of ING Groep NV’s assets, according to an e-mailed statement after markets closed on Dec. 7. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (PREC CB), the Toronto-based oil producer that operates fields in Colombia, fell 2.7 percent to 38,720 pesos, after earlier dropping as much as 5.3 percent. The stock in Bogota, where markets were closed yesterday for a holiday, dropped as it adjusted to the price of the company’s stock in Canada, which fell 5.4 percent yesterday to 19.59 CAD, said Maria Adelaida Velasquez, oil analyst at Interbolsa SA.
